Health outcomes over time was assessed with health-related quality of life (EQ-5D-5L: 5-level EQ-5D Questions), overall health status (EQ-VAS: EQ visual analogue scale),depression scale (CES-D: Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale), activity limitations (WG-SS: The Washington Group Short Set of Questions on Disability), self-impressions, pulmonary function test, chest X-ray and dyspnoea (MRC dyspnoea scale)
