  1. The in vitro antimalarial activity of actinomycetes secondary metabolites extracts against chloroquine/mefloquine-sensitive (3D7) and-resistant (Dd2) strains of P. falciparum, and cytotoxicity against Adult Mouse Brain Cells (AMB). The value of IC50, CC50, and SI is taken from two independent experiments performed in duplicate. SN sample number, CQ Chloroquine, AS Artesunate, IC50 50% inhibitory concentration, CC50 50% cytotoxic concentration, SI selectivity index (CC50/IC50), 3D7 Chloroquine/Mefloquine-sensitive strain of P. falciparum, Dd2 Chloroquine/Mefloquine-resistant strain of P. falciparum, RI resistance index (3D7 IC50/Dd2 IC50)
